A Summative Content Analysis on Malaysia Policy Documents of Preschool Quality

The quality of education has always been public interest globally. Quality should begin at the entry point preschool programme. Policy documents chart policy target and direction for individual country. However, highlight issues in this form have minimally assessed. study aimed evaluating emphasis Malaysia towards topic examining issue structural elements these documents. Seven on Malaysia, consisting four macro three specific were examined. data analysed qualitatively by using content analysis. It is found that general was mentioned repetitively all , i.e., Shared Prosperity Vision, 11th 12th Plan, Education Blueprint (MEB). there fewer mentions early childhood care (ECCE), childcare, across documents, except MEB. Similarly, to be less than process examined – 1) National Standard Preschool Curriculum, 2) Quality, 3) Guideline Management. Thus, future research worth directed implementation rather education, particularly settings.
